ABOUT MAA
The practice of Arkitek MAA Sdn Bhd (MAA) was established in 1965 under the style of Malaysian Associate Architects. Architectural works were initially centred around Kuala Lumpur. These activities included large scale housing, commercial, industrial and institutional projects.
In 1970, a branch office was set up to undertake a variety of large commercial projects in the Republic of Singapore. In 1974 and 1975, branch offices were set up in Sarawak and Brunei respectively. Architectural work carried out by these branches encompasses projects for both the public and private sector. Arkitek MAA also undertook assignments in Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines and China.
With the firm's long, established history and award winning track record, Arkitek MAA has the depth of professional talent to respond to projects of any size and complexity. We bring this experience to every project and our practice is built on a tradition of personal attention and individual commitment.
The firm's versatility arises from its multi-disciplinary organization. Since solving today's complex design problems demands the integration of many service capabilities, including highly specialised science and technologies; Arkitek MAA's structure integrates the required disciplines and staff consultants under one roof.
We assign a team to each project. This team consists of various disciplines involved in the job, pooling together a cohesive and comprehensive resources of skills to program and analyse the most suitable set of alternatives for each individual client's requirements.

Architecture
Architectural services at Arkitek MAA Sdn Bhd begin with the analysis of client's needs and objectives, and result in the creation of a project that meets the intended functional, economic and aesthetic requirements. The architectural team develops design concepts, translates them into detailed working drawings and specifications, assists the client in obtaining and negotiating bids and administration of construction contract to ensure the fulfillment of quality, time and cost criteria.
Town Planning
Arkitek MAA Sdn Bhd's planning experience ranges from complex urban developments to the master planning of entirely new communities. This service includes phasing, the consideration of Infrastructure, traffic and parking studies, access, terrain and government requirements.
Project Management
This section provides project management support services to clients. The services extend to resource planning, cost control, financial management, project programming and construction management. On special request, the team would also provide building management and maintenance services.
