Building and Operational Activities

The contracts for all building services contractors were extended for an interim period of 6 months. This is with the purpose of reviewing the performance of the service providers and to consider new appointments of contracts/service providers.

The apointment(s) of new service providers was made in the best interest of providing value added services to the occupants of Plaza Sentral. For better administration and effective management, the following contracts were awarded to:

i.Semasa Services Sdn Bhd – Building facilities and comprehensive M&E

ii.Semasa Sentral Sdn Bhd – Security services (Auxiliary Police)

iii.MRCB Technologies Sdn Bhd – To assist all MSC Malaysia Status companies in complaint and enquiry handling and to ensure compliance to the MSC Malaysia BOG 1 (World-class physical infrastructure & cutting-edge communications Infostructure). Meeting rooms and exhibition hall facilities are available free of charge to MSC Malaysia status companies in relations to the MSC Malaysia initiatives.

iv.Property Care Services – Housekeeping contract for Plaza Sentral (internal and external cleaning, etc.).

These contracts were entered into with JMB after negotiations on the contracted sum(s) and on the terms and conditions as stipulated by the committee. KPIs/SLAs were imposed on all contracts of services.
